Midwest Extra 300 XS
Since its release in 1994, the Midwest Extra 300XS has earned a reputation as a
quality flying aerobatic aircraft. Now they have made it even better for you.Both
the horizontal and vertical tail surfaces now feature an airfoil shape for improved
aerodynamics,plus these new tail srufaces look much better.
The new 300 XS incorporates counter balanced elevators which put less loads on
your equipment and provides a smoother elevator feel. The Extra 300 XS also features
a larger amount of rudder area.This increase in area can be seen by the size of the
counterbalance as well as in the chord of the rudder at the trailing edge.Extras have
been known for needing a littlt bit more rudder area and that's just what you get with
the Midwest Extra 300 XS.
This is a well made kit with excellent die cutting and laser cut parts.It flies as well as
the larger 40% models and is very gentle on landings.The kit is all die cut wood of
excellent quality and goes together quickly and easily if you are at experienced with
building.
