The Beaver was created by De Havilland of Canada to be the perfect bush plane. Its designers knew a lot about wilderness flying living in the shadow of the Great White North and built the Beaver to be exceptionally rugged and powerful. Entering service in 1946, it quickly established itself on backwoods routes throughout Canada and Alaska. It went wherever the roads didn't, including lakes when retrofitted with floats. This airborne pack mule still flies in remote areas today, carrying fisherman to weeklong getaways or island-hopping tourists in the Caribbean. Wherever people are looking to enjoy a secluded slice of the great outdoors, chances are a Beaver is taking them there. It's only fitting that such a plane be GWS's newest park flyer subject.

For fliers on a budget, Hangar 9's Value Series is just the ticket. Framed from balsa and ply like the Ultra Series and covered in pre-printed PVC film covering, they feature ABS wing tips and stab tips.

Hangar 9 continues, the Value Series with the semi-scale Cessna .40 Value ARF. The Cessna's semi-symmetrical airfoil and large 720 square-inch wing, combined with its light weight (just 5-1/2 lbs.), make for light wing loading. This means stable slow speed performance and predictable flight characteristics, making it an excellent choice for pilots stretching their skills into basic aerobatics.

Megatech's B3 is 100% built and ready-to fly. The B3's under cambered reflex airfoil assures that this plane is very easy to fly. The extremely rugged EPP construction makes the B3 an excellent choice for first time pilots. The B3 is turned via thrust-differential between the twin motors. It is far more difficult to over-control a model airplane using this type of directional control and this makes the B3 a more stable aircraft. The B3 looks extremely cool and flies great.
